Currently, the former also use digital technology to find out about product features — for example, price, quality, or availability — to pay at the store or leave their opinions. In other words: retail sales in stores also depend on digital devices and online channels.

When searching for information and prices using digital devices for 66% of respondents, it is important that products and related information are relatively easy to find. In other words, the layout and functionality offered by the applications and web pages (accessible via smartphone) of the suppliers play a decisive role. 60% of respondents would also like to be able to compare products and prices. This is also seen in the popularity of price comparison pages.

The program aims to increase the profitability of investment programs by supporting the financing of their investments in the modernization of production facilities to improve their position in terms of compliance with standards and efficiency.

Energy Efficiency Investment Support Program. “Processing online products”: the application of an industrial process that causes a change in the nature of the product and brings it closer to the state in which it will subsequently be consumed by people. Conversion requires significant added value compared to the cost of delivering goods. Packaging activities, which include cleaning, presentation, packaging (or repackaging) and labeling of finished products, are not in themselves considered processing products.

To be eligible to participate in the project, the project must: comply with the requirements of the code of practice or market standards and conditions for animal welfare or increase energy efficiency to reduce costs; energy from agricultural industrial buildings, whether by: o reconstruction of existing buildings or industrial infrastructure; o the construction of buildings or industrial infrastructure, taking into account energy efficiency considerations; o the acquisition of basic production equipment; be recommended by an agricultural consultant as part of a diagnostic and action plan; include investments with eligible costs of at least US $ 20,000.

Financial assistance can reach $ 13.33 per $ 100 of eligible financing from up to $ 225,000 of loan capital. The maximum financial assistance is $ 30,000 per company for the entire duration of the Program. This assistance is equivalent to a 3% interest refund for a maximum of five years. Financial assistance will be paid annually in two installments over a five-year period.
